Blue with Envy

After spending a whole day at home talking to my mum and watching Sex and The City I was inspired to write about the reason why I spent my whole day inside this hot sticky place - Summer holidays. My mum, one of the main people who had one of the worst years ever (refer to my last post) decided to take some time off, dragging me to the most obnoxious place ever - the country side of Australia.

Treasure Hunt

Miranda Kerr, the Australian Goddess whose very wise words in her beautiful book Treasure Yourself, inspired me to take this town as an opportunity instead of a disaster in my life. 7:44 am and I was awake, I curled in bed and watched Coco Avant Chanel - in French. As I don't speak French, I didn't understand the movie until half way through it I had the brilliant idea to put English subtitles and by doing so, I restarted the whole movie. In the wake of something new...

Twenty-fourth of December, Christmas eve.

Some may call it the excitement of life, the reason why people want to be here; there is always something coming up that we must be excited and happy for, however, the truth is: we only realise what we have until we lose it! Every single year I hear the same things: "I just want it to be Summer already, it's so cold and I hate it!" or the classic "I miss Summer!" subsequently, when Summer finally arrives the statement is the same, however, the nouns and adjectives are replaced by their antonyms: "I just want it to be Winter already, it's so hot and I hate it!" and "I miss winter". Fortunately for me, today is Christmas eve.

Maybe December

December is the time of the year where people become more generous and decide to change for the next upcoming year in hopes that maybe, next year will be better than the current one. The new season rolls in, the stores maniacally gathers up plotting the next big sales and we - individuals who don't really care, are trapped. This inevitable state of mind that people seem to trigger annoys me while scaring me simultaneously. What makes December so different than every other month of the year?
