Budgeting? Do it right!

When I go shopping I must admit, sometimes I do get carried away and end up buying things that are either too expensive or things I will never use. Impulse buying is a flaw which I have and I do believe many others do have to deal with every time they go to the mall or supermarkets. Who ever bought a shirt or a pair of jeans which was a splurge and they literally couldn't buy anything until their next pay check? Guilty! So how to do fashion on a low budget - and do it right?

Happiness À la carte?

Lately I've noticed people are having a hard time financially, emotionally and overall everything. It's hard to keep your head up with so many horrible things happening out there, but it is important to keep fighting no matter how bad things get. When we are happy, or at least satisfied with our life, our body isn't under as much stress and pressure as if you were constantly upset or hating on yourself. Here are some tips for you to release stress and maybe, even find happiness in your life:

What to wear: On a first date

There is nothing more frightening than a first date, especially if you really like that special someone. You put on every single outfit over and over again until you can find something that is just right for you and your body-type. Unfortunately, sometimes we over-dress or under-dress and feel like a fish out of the water, while some other times what we wear is so uncomfortable that it just ruins the whole day, what to do then?

How to exercise in a healthy way.

Everyday for the past two weeks I have been hitting up the gym. Growing up with my mum, a gym fanatic woman who's life revolved around getting fit and eating healthy,  I had the basic knowledge set of what to and what not to do at the gym. February's Fashion Radar

This week's Fashion Radar fashionista is no less than the "super intern", nicknamed by MTV after, personally, my favourite episode of The Hills. Emily Weiss, ambitious, organised and intimidating scored an internship at Teen VOGUE in NYC after Polo Ralph Lauren's team arranged an interview between the "super intern" and the "super magazine"; "…The team at Polo Ralph Lauren, where I interned during high school … arranged for an interview with the editors." states Weiss.

When I grow up...

Ten words, ten letters and ten years haunting me - what do you want to be when you grow up? Such a simple question yet so complicated. Ever since I reached a certain age all people asked me was ''what do you want to be when you grow up?" and I, at the age of five, wondered why people kept asking me this question when all I wanted to do was to play with my Barbies. As we grow older, we start to truly understand the concept of this question, people aren't curious to know if you want to be a doctor or a sales assistant, they simply want to know how intellectually capable you are. When we reach high school and things get serious, the immense amount of pressure that is put on you by your family, friends and peers overwhelms us and when we reach university/college we are simply relieved to get away from everyone.

Till death do us part

In life, as in art, some endings are bittersweet. Especially when it comes to love. Sometimes fate throws two lovers together only to rip them apart. Sometimes the hero finally makes the right choice but the timing is all wrong. And, as they say, timing is everything. (Gossip Girl, season 2)
